Cole Slaw

1 small head cabbage, shredded
1 small onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 small carrot, shredded

1/2 cup cider vinegar
3 tablespoons cane sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1/2 cup canola oil
|
In a large salad bowl, place the cabbage, onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and the carrot.
Combine the vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper, and oil in a separate bowl and mix well. Combine this marinade with cabbage and vegetables. Toss until the vegetables are fully coated with marinade. Let sit for marinade to soak in for a while if time allows.
